When Shana ordered the essential oils for emotions book, she was excited for me to look through it. However I didn’t share the same enthusiasm. After a friend had great results going through the book, my enthusiasm increased substantially.
I reviewed my trigger words and the oil that was associated with those words was Bergamot essential oil. I was already using the common combination of Grounding Blend and Calming Blend so I added Bergamot oil to the blend. Now I have my personal “calm me down” rollerball blend.
Ideally, I would use the rollerball blend 3-5 times per day to keep me relaxed, but I often find myself forgetting to use it until I’m already tense. Either way, Bergamot, especially combined with the other two essential oil blends, can be very relaxing to the mind and the body.
Practical uses for Bergamot essential oil:
- Calming and soothing aroma.
- Frequently used in massage therapy for its calming benefits.
- Apply to the feet before bedtime for a sense of calm and harmony.
- Add one to two drops to your next DIY skin care cleanser.
Emotionally, Bergamot essential oil is The Oil of Self-Acceptance. Bergamot supports the individual in need to self-acceptance and self-love.
Bergamot is also found in the Invigorating Blend and the Women’s Monthly Blend.
