Spring is in the air! It is an exciting time of the year, but comes with its own issues.
The trees are in bloom and the bugs are out in full force. It makes for beautiful scenery, but some of us experience less than desirable side effects from spring.
Seasonal discomfort from all the blooms can be very irritating. Thankfully, essential oils can help keep your breathing clear and easy. Just combine lemon, lavender, and peppermint essential oils in your diffuser, topically or internally. For those that need the more powerful impact of internal use, there’s pre-made capsules of this blend that make it really convenient!
Another tool to have on hand to keep your sinuses and lungs clear is the Respiratory Blend Essential Oil. It will support clear airways either used in your diffuser or applied to your chest.
If the trees don’t drive you crazy, the bugs will! Bug repellents are usually full of harmful toxins. The last thing you want to do is breathe those synthetic chemicals in our put them on your skin. Thankfully, there are natural alternatives. Lemongrass and eucalyptus essential oil are great repellents, but I prefer the pre-made Repellent Blend essential oil. It’s easier and I know it works. There’s a spray blend that’s available now too, just in time!
If you do happen to forget your Repellent Blend and get eaten alive like I do, you’ll want to have Lavender essential oil ready to soothe your skin. It’s also great if you spend a little bit too much time in the sun!
For your home, spring cleaning is on the to-do list. You are going to love cleaning with your citrus oils – orange, lemon, grapefruit, lime – and diffusing them to keep your home smelling bright and fresh.
So even though spring comes with its challenges, you’ll be ready to tackle whatever comes your way with these essentials in your home!
