The article talks about a Tulane University study in which they put two different diets up to the test. A high-fat, low-carb diet against a fat-restricted diet. Both groups ate however much they wanted as long as it followed their diets guidelines.
One year later the high fat group lost three times as much weight (12 lbs). The weight that was lost was fat. The high carb group lost four pounds on average, but the weight loss was muscle.
