Why you Don't Love your Community Anymore

Have you ever found yourself feeling disconnected from the community you created? It's not uncommon to reach a point where the culture and dynamics of your community no longer align with your vision. In this episode, I explore why this can be a problem and how to reignite your passion as a community creator. As you listen to the full episode, pay attention to these key takeaways.

Intentional Community Design:

As community creators, we must be intentional about the design of our community. This involves focusing on the four keys to a thriving community outlined in my Community Creators Framework™: Cause, Culture, Communication, and Connection.

Balancing Community Input:

Humans are wired to seek attention and approval, and building a community naturally brings both. However, when we prioritize meeting the needs and opinions of community members over our initial vision, we risk losing control as the creator. While it's important to listen to your community and make adjustments, it's crucial to ensure that these changes align with your vision. Don't let the community dictate what the community becomes; you are still the authority and guide.

Aligning Community with Business:

Remember that the community you create is meant to support your business. It's essential to maintain alignment between the community's vision and your business goals to ensure its continued success.

Pushing for Growth and Progress:

As a leader, it's your responsibility to push your community members out of their comfort zones and into discomfort, where real change and progress happen. This requires intentional community design and a commitment to remaining the community creator.

Being a Community Creator

If you find yourself feeling like the community created instead of the community creator, it's time to take a step back and reevaluate your community's design. Use my Community Cultivated Framework™ to realign your vision and intentionally create a thriving community that supports your business goals. To dive deeper into this topic, watch my free 7 minute training on my framework and listen to the full podcast episode.  Don't miss out on the opportunity to cultivate a thriving community that supports your business.
